Chris Archer

Chris has been heavily involved in the fitness industry for almost three decades, a personal trainer for over twenty years and Pilates Instructor since 2007. After many years spent training as a body builder and powerlifter, Chris’s Pilates journey began whilst working as a personal trainer in London. On his return to Australia he began his teacher training with a Peak Classical Pilates studio in Elsternwick and has never looked back.

Among his many Pilates achievements, Chris has worked as a pre-season conditioning coach for an AFL football squad, a conditioning coach for triathletes, personal teacher to an internationally acclaimed actress and helped many individuals improve overall body conditioning, overcome injury and improve various health related issues.

Away from Pilates and the fitness industry Chris enjoys competitive and challenging road cycling and mountain biking events, swimming, walking his dog Cookie (the studio mascot) and spending time with friends.

Sorelle Nolan

After having her first baby Sorelle felt the need to repair her body and get back into exercise, as her back was in constant pain and general exercise wasn’t helping.  Several sessions of Pilates in the gym each week began to help and soon she couldn’t believe how it made her feel.  Feeling a need to truly experience Pilates in a studio Sorelle joined Classic Pilates.

It was here that she saw firsthand what Pilates does for the mind and body.  Becoming fitter, stronger, improving her posture, reducing pain, improving flexibility and I even giving her arches in her once flat feet, the whole body transformation was amazing.  Sorelle became a believer of the true Pilates methodology.

Sorelle realised she hadn’t felt this passionate about something for a long time and knew she had to share her experience, educate others and let them experience that same whole body transformation.  And so Sorelle’s teacher training journey began.

In 2016 Sorelle completed her Level 2 certification and is continuing her studies in Pilates by attending courses and workshops in Authentic Pilates.  And of course passing on that knowledge through her teaching at Classic Wellness.

Sia Kanellopolus

Sia has been practicing yoga for more than 30 years. She has studied a variety of yoga traditions in both Australia and in India.

Sia loves introducing clients to the stillness that can be experienced in Dru Yoga and Dru Meditation. In this stillness you are able to sit back from anything that may be happening around you and see and act from a point of clarity and inner calm. She is passionate about client wellbeing and committed to sharing the Dru yoga experience of grace and flow along with tools for health, vitality and self-empowerment.

 

Bernadette Sierakowski

Bernadette is a fully qualified teacher with an Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching (1000+hours); she also holds a Master’s Degree in Education and works professionally in education and elite sport. She is a Yoga Australia Registered Teacher and is firmly committed to promoting “safe health and wellbeing”. She is currently teaching in a range of settings locally.

 

Candice O’Meara

Candice brings positive energy and encouragement to her classes and takes great pleasure in sharing yoga’s powerful teachings. Her passion for movement, body awareness, and yoga philosophy is evident, as she guides you on a supportive journey through breath technique, posture alignment and mindfully created flows. Candice’s classes are balanced to strengthen the body, and nurture and soothe the mind and the soul, aiming to leave students feeling fearless, focused, inspired and compassionate.

Candice is the creator of Little Tribe Yogis, a children's yoga business which nurtures strong, healthy bodies and happy minds. Candice strongly believes in educating, inspiring and empowering children to connect and strengthen their body and mind to lead a positive life. Candice's kids yoga classes and workshops are energetic, fun, yet relaxing and peaceful. Each class incorporates yoga poses, breathing exercises, meditation, empowerment techniques, reflection and relaxation. 

 

Cindy Lane

Cindy loves that yoga makes her a less stressed person! She hopes to offer you the same benefit and hopes you will leave feeling better than when you arrived! Cindy has trained in various types of yoga over the years including hot, vinyasa, with babies and yin, and has worked with large groups to 1:1 as well as various ages. She aims for you to enjoy your yoga session no matter your age, flexibility or worries.
Cindy holds a health science degree specialising in homeopathy and has worked for over 20 years in the medical/health industry. She is interested in your health and wellness.
